Discover Our Journey

Recovery, Job Training, and Support Services

At GG's Redemption, we are not your typical nonprofit. Our mission is to work to solve every aspect of domestic violence as they're laid on the table by you. It starts with you! We need an honest assessment and your agreement in writing that you'll do your part. Often, women are left with the kids and the responsibility of the families' needs. We start with a free vehicle to utilize if you should need one. If you complete the initial goals set from your assessment, we sign the vehicle over to you. We'll continue legal responsibilities up to six months until you can arrange your own insurance. Our unique purpose and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those we serve are what motivate us. That's why we don't abandon our clients after the so called "graduation". We're in it for life! Our help and support will never end. Our phone number will never change. We do wish to have more lines and more locals at work to help you.

Our biggest issue today is getting to utilize land entrusted to the Department of Hawaiian Homelands. They in turn, was established in the 1960s as a condition of becoming another state donating to the federal coffers on the United States of America. The department has been administered by foreigner ideologies from its inception. One of its biggest defects is only paying the chairman of the commission. Of all my research, only Patti Kahanamoku T really read and researched the issues. We conclude this because of her questions and incites to the issues. And yes Patti, we really would like an honest relationship working with you on the issues.

My name is Guy L. Gasper, 50% + Hawaiian, a leaseholder of the property located at 89-328 Palikea St. Waianae, Hi. Yes a property under jurisdiction of the department of Hawaiian homelands and my due diligence of over 15 years to get it in my name. We're in need of the use of 2 properties under DHHL's control, Tax Map Key and . The reason for this is because we can not see an indigent nonprofit, 100% Hawaiian owned like ourselves, surviving day one without land to work with. The department has made it a priority to give non natives priority over our lands since the beginning? All in the name of making money, that many indignant Hawaiians like ourselves will never see a benefit from.

I just found out that there's a possibility that a company called Pasha who is on a month to month lease with the department, was said to be the only entity besides DHHL that are able to execute leases for DHHL (this shared to us by a staff member of DHHL). Leases made by Pasha to Hawaiians are normally at least twice the price DHHL leases the land to them. Checks by us are sent to a mainland corporation. My neighbor down the road just got a lease from DHHL 3 months ago. The improvements to the property is literally night to day! It took them over 11 years of money and patience to secure the lease. I just turned 60, I cannot wait 10 years to start this. I tried to start on private land. My friend gave me access to his 7acres of private farmland and without even advertising I had 35+ vehicles sprawled all over his property in less then 2 weeks! We still have at least 15 at the "home" office. We could not continue, having an environmental conscious as we do, we need commercial/industrial land to do this legally. Stick around and you'll have more stories of what really makes us tick! And what makes DHHL sick.

GG's is over 60 years in the making and dedicated to Jeanette M.K. Kukahiwa and all you who do your best with what you have. We ask that you help us help you get more. A shout out to all the Gaspers that support this endeavor and actively participate in helping others. And a shout out to you, who will be our future support because you "came to believe".

Over the years, this idea evolved and matured, leading us to develop a clear vision for GG's Redemption. Our mission never looked at profits; it's about addressing the pressing domestic violence issues and the fall out that affect our communities, especially in Hawaii. We're deeply concerned about the displacement of Hawaiians from their native lands, the historical influence of foreign business, missionaries, and an unresolved governance situation.

One of our key initiatives is addressing the challenges of domestic violence. We provide survivors with comprehensive, lifetime support, including treatment, special needs assistance, secure housing, and even opportunities for free vehicle use and ownership upon successful completion of initial treatment. But our commitment doesn't end there; we believe in lifelong aftercare and treating survivors as part of our extended family. This means continued education, on-the-job training options, entrepreneurial opportunities, and an open door to hear your thoughts and ideas.

What sets us apart is our genuine care for the well-being of the people of Hawaii and our dedication to creating a supportive structure that extends throughout a lifetime. Our story is one of resilience, growth, and a profound desire to make a difference. We invite everyone to join us on this remarkable journey, where compassion, empowerment, and community come together to create a brighter future for all.
